Professional Biography
Mr. Gravelle has been teaching at CEC since the fall of 2019 (Earth Science & Math 030). Prior to joining CEC, Mr Gravelle taught within the Poudre School District: 4th grade at Olander School for Project Based Learning from 2007 through 2011 and 6th/7th grade math at Blevins Middle School from 2012 through 2019. Before becoming a teacher, Mr. Gravelle was a physicist/manager for a number of fortune 500 organizations. He started his technological career as a design engineer for Raytheon Corporation, working on the guidance system for the Patriot Missile, before joining the research and development team of General Electric Medical Systems as an x-ray tube engineer. A desire to relocate to Colorado allowed him to join the staff of Agilent Technologies as the manager of x-ray research and production. Mr. Gravelle's final industrial job was as a Six Sigma Black Belt for Woodward Governors.
